Bari, Italy
On Italy’s east coast is the beautiful city of Bari. I was lucky enough to stay in the old town in a cute little hostel run by a local and her Aussie husband. In the cobbled lane below, a woman rolled fresh pasta all day while I roamed her neighbourhood. Old Town Bari is all yellowed medieval stone walls and churches with skinny little streets that only Vespas can squeeze down. The beach here was packed with locals, all displaying their bright swimwear proudly.
